I changed offices this week, and to mark the occasion and encourage folks to visit my new space, today I’m serving a new variety: Salty-Sweet Butter Pecan Cookies. To be accurate, the recipe isn’t new (I found it at King Arthur Flour’s site), but this morning is the first time I’ve tried it. The recipe, as I’ve adapted it (because I couldn’t find expresso powder or butter-rum flavor) is right here.
I hope you’ll like them.
My office is now located on the East end of the second floor of Coker’s beautiful Drengaelen House.
Come on over!
P.S. The cookies are at the office, today, but I am about to leave for Charleston for the weekend. Tomorrow night I’ll be attending Rotary International’s installation banquet honoring District Governor Lou Mello. It’s being held at Daniel Island Club, and I’ve never visited Charleston before. Should be fun. See you Monday.
